Who we are

Aurben (“Aurben”, “we”, “us”) provides an AI voice layer for waste-management businesses: an AI receptionist, Jessica, who answers and places phone calls, sends texts, books orders and reports everything to the business owner. This policy covers both the website at aurben.co and the service itself. Questions land at team@aurben.co and get a reply from a founder.

What we collect on this website

• Demo requests. If you ask for a demo we collect your name, email and phone number, and use them for exactly one thing: getting back to you about Aurben. No list, no drip campaign.
• Client logins. Clients sign in with an email and password to see their own dashboard. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
• Basic technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We run no advertising trackers and no third-party ad cookies on this site.
• Scheduling. Booking a call uses Cal.com; what you enter there is also governed by Cal.com’s privacy policy.

What Jessica processes on a client’s line

When a waste business puts Jessica on its phone number, we process the information needed to run its front office on its behalf:

• Calls. Caller phone numbers, call audio and full transcripts. Calls are recorded and transcribed so the business owner can review every conversation and so we can monitor and improve quality.
• Texts. Confirmation, reminder and callback messages, and replies to them.
• Orders. Delivery addresses, dates, container sizes, quoted prices and payment status. Card payments are handled by a dedicated payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.

This data belongs to the business Jessica answers for. We use it to deliver the service to that business, not to build profiles of its customers, and we do not sell it to anyone.

Calls with an AI on the line

Jessica is an AI assistant. If a caller asks whether they are talking to an AI, she says so truthfully. Calls she handles are recorded and transcribed; the businesses we work with are responsible for any notice their state requires them to give their own callers, and we help them get that right.

Text messaging (SMS)

• Texts are sent only in the course of service: booking confirmations, delivery reminders, missed-call text-backs and owner notifications.
• Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.
• Phone numbers and SMS consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Service providers

We use a small set of providers to run the service, each receiving only what it needs: telephony and SMS carriage (Telnyx), real-time voice infrastructure (LiveKit), speech and language models that power transcription and Jessica’s voice (for example Deepgram, ElevenLabs, and large-language-model providers), database and application hosting (Supabase, Vercel), scheduling (Cal.com) and payments (Stripe). None of them may use your data for their own marketing.

Retention and security

We keep data while an account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to people who need it to run the service, and client dashboards only ever show a business its own data.

Your choices

Email team@aurben.co to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and we will act on it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under local law, and we honor those too. Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.

Children

Neither the website nor the service is directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes we will post the new version here with a new effective date. A material change gets a plain-English note at the top, not a silent edit.
